Curious how guys mount their fish finders on jon boats. I have a garmin and the transducer can either be mounted on transom parallel to the water or mounted to the trolling motor? I'm just worried about damaging the transducer when loading in back of truck and dragging the boat on the ground. Any input would be appreciated!
Condolences to family and friends. He was a mentor to me and he never even new, just due to the knowledge of fly fishing which loved to share and protect.
What are you guys using for the wire to attach the hooks together? If using and articulated shank from fish men, better to have hook at back or hook in the front?
The redington butterstick. I ended up coming home and buying one off of eBay! Bought myself the 7'6" 4 wt, have a sage 1800 series 3/4 wt reel to pair with it. Can't wait for spring!
Thanks you guys! Gil- have to look into thoses lenses. I try to use macro setting seems to help for sure.
Lornce- have to try somewhere else than the tying bench or turn off the florescent light that is on the wok bench I use I guess!
Hey guys. Wondering anyone has any tips on taking pictures of the flies you've tied. I've posted a couple pics but they were taken with my I phone. Bought the fiance a nikon p 600 this Christmas and was looking to take some better pics. Any advice and tips welcome. Thanks!
Thanks again guys for all the info! Big foamy, I think the fiance thinks the same of me haha. And I have some soft hackle pheasant tails tied up, but with silver wire and a silver tungsten bead head. I'll tie some with a red thread for a hot spot.
