I actually saw a yellow fish painted near a drain by the tunnel that goes under the track and into the infield at the Stampede. It's the only one I've seen in Calgary and I'm not sure why that location. I would imagine there is more beer spilled in that drain than anything else.

Nope. The land along the Highwood is either Private, Native, or K-Country, so no random camping to be had.

I worked for Parks for a few summers when I was younger. The most asked question was "Are the elk tame? Can I get a picture of my kids petting/riding that elk?" The best one I remember was a Texan asked me what size of trees we planted on the mountains. I told him that we didn't plant the trees they have always been there. He didn't believe me. Kind of made me want to pound my head against the wall.

I have Sirius and love it. And if you are at your trailer you won't even have to take it out of your truck, just have it turned on and the radio in your trailer will pick it up.

I was out there on Sunday with my girlfriend too and we did see a fish, except it was dead on the bottom. Anyways I was trying to teach her to cast (she's never fished before) but the wind wouldn't quit so it wasn't too successful. She did manage to get the fly stuck in her hair though.
