I have family that live out in the consort area, i've tried the pond at gooseberry park a couple times, they stock it but the fishing is tough the majority of the bank is dead bush so casting is tough without a boat. Not to mention its a long drive for not the greatest fishing but hey, the ponds right beside the golf course haha

Ya if your looking for lakes your going to have to venture out of the city, all the ones you listed are lakes within communities inside the city limits which are all private so unless you know someone who lives in those comunities you cant just waltz in and fish it. Theres lots of decent ponds and lakes not far outside of the city if you do a little looking.

Its different then the lower bow, the fish are more spaced out but the best part is, theres very little fishing competition unless your in the strech directly below the dam.
