  1. Nah, he's just been stirring up another forum. Be careful, Tako, them hunters is armed!!! ;)

    Nice vids; thanks for postin'!!

Being well armed and being a good shot are two different beasts.

Hey Weeds I might have some time to kill in the evening next week and I'll be in Etown. Wanna go fishin?

  2. No big fish this spring. Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC guys say they haven't netted more than a few over 5lbs this year. Fishing is still good, but Dragon has officially become average (I'm not really chasing the goose he was just in the way, haha). I'm currently in Bonnyville doing some training. Looks like I'm working on the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Program this summer> Yah! Projects all over the place. Wood Buffalo to Calgary. Seeya round boyz. Enjoy the vids

  4. Dude, Stauffer muddy as hell. Fished 3 sections last night and today. Not one dam fish. Clearest today was this morning @ BFW, maybe a little more than a foot vis. Everything else is sub 10" Suuuuuuuucks hard. I will phone you sunday nite. Might go check out some water sunday morning.

  5. Just this: Learn how to nymph properly without an indicator, before learning how to nymph with one.

Practice your drifts, mends and getting that drag-free drift, and let your senses and the end of your line guide you to that strike. Fishing with an indicator becomes easy to the point of boredom once you have learned how to nymph without it.

Beyond that, whenever I am in AB, I am almost exclusively running a dry as an "indicator"

  6. Anyone welcome to meet up anywhere anytime. Would love to fish with someone who knows the water. PM me for my cell #

The Bow will have to wait. Won't be making it south of Olds this trip :(
