Ayr Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Is it possible/ practical to wetwade all of july? Or should I buy waders? My waders developed an elusive leak in the general crotch area around mid-April, so I have been wet wading 100% of the time since then . Why don't you buy my waders, then you can wet wade in waders! Tungsten Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Is it possible/ practical to wetwade all of july? Or should I buy waders? Yes and Yes,buy yourself a set of breathable waders. In your part of the country they must be cheap. Quote
theiceman2 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Depends on your tolerance to the cold, I fished with a buddy of mine over a moth ago who wet waded. Not my cup of tea, but I guess he is tougher then me. I wouldn't worry about how clean the water is. About the hardness of the water, people from all over the world pay money to bath in the Banff hot springs which is 10x the disolved calcium. As for how clean it is, if you compare it on a global scale the Bow is cleaner then alot of the water people drink around the world. If you can suffer the cold do it. The only polution in the Bow is from the mountains to where you fish and Calgary has a water treatment plant that is the best in the world. Quote
Teck71 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 My waders are put away, wore them bellyboating at bullshead last weekend, but not it will be wet wading till mid september to october. Quote
