birchy Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I've had a sore throat and have been sneezing the last few days.. Last night I was on the river and sneezed on the water a few times.. You're all going to have to stay off the Bow for at least the entire weekend.. just in case it's H1N1.. and the river is now infected.. Sorry! Quote
Castuserraticus Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 We'll miss you. Can I have your rods and reels, flies, vice, and tying materials? Quote
SilverDoctor Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Damn, now the news is going to pick it up and call it Fly Fishers Flu and shut down all the Fly Shops. Quote
birchy Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 You guys are missing the point.. I'LL be fine.. the Bow River on the other hand.. is doomed. No need to fish it anymore. Quote
LynnF Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I'll take my chances. I heard on the news that if this reaches pandemic level, over 2 billion people will get this flu. Might as well get it from the trout. Quote
rhuseby Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Hmmm. 2 Billion people infected, 1/3 of the world population. 1/3 less of the population out fishing. GO SWINE FLU!!!!!!! Quote
bhurt Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I actually know someone who has been infected by the H1N1 virus and find people that make jokes about it very out of line Quote
