bigalcal Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I went down to theOldman Gap etc Sept 28-30. Froze my butt off tent camping at RHC and still got a sunburn from the beautiful weather!! All the cattle are getting rounded up now. It was kinda neat to watch especially on a couple of amazing sunny days. The Gap is full of dust from the cattle trucks going back and forth and long lines of cattle are being driven down Maycroft Rd. Alberta at it's finest!! There were a lot of great photo op's but I forgot to recharge my camera!! PMO!! I did stop and ask a cowboy how many cattle he loses a summer and he told me that they had lost 12 to wolves that they knew of. Yikes!! Quote
agbff Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Wolves.... that wouldnt be to much fun. How was the fishing, still good? thinking about making one last trip down that way oct 10 weekend. Supposed to get a little bit of snow by then i think.... Quote
