There has been a lot of talk recently about the metamorphosis of this board, I hope this helps people to remember why we like it around here.

I spent the weekend with troutlover and another buddy fishing based from my condo in BC (which is still for rent by the way, 3 weeks left in the season!-end of advertisement). We focussed on cuttie streams in the area. The fishing was outstanding. We got between 20 and 25 per day, with the first day being the best. Biggest cuttie was in the 17" class. Most all of them were caught on dry flies. I don't have the pictures from day 1 yet as the guide we used on day 1 is sending them, along with an amazing movie he made of the trip. By the way, we fished with Bruce from Kootenay Troutfitters. It would be difficult for me to recommend him more. Just a great guy to fish with! And he certainly came through in giving us options for the next two days.

Anyway, most of the following shots are of scenery. We did not take that many fish pictures on days 2 and 3. Mostly focussed on just enjoying where we were. There will be plenty of fish porn when I get the pictures and video from Bruce. Hope everyone enjoys!

I've made a lot of fishing trips in my life. This was certainly one of the best!

Cool, pretty country, that's the one about westslopes, they only live in the prettiest country.

No grimsley bares to add excitement?

No. And we did expect to see some, or at least sign. One of the days we were on a section with lots and lots of kokanee's spawning and dying. Saw an eagle, but no bears. Did see some cougar tacks though.

Can't wait to see the rest of the pics & video.

That really is some beautiful country when you get off the beaten path, pic # 4 of your trip is very familiar to me as Jason, the owner of Kootenay Troutfitters took me to that little vista.Did he take you to secret spot #2 about 7k up the trail?

BTW nice fish and great pics, hijack complete.
