duanec Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 has anyone here been successful in painting an lead anchor with some sort of rubber coating. the anchor that purchased leaves black marks all over the place and would like to coat it with some sort of rubber or vinyl. m i used a product before to rubber coat some tools and roof rack - it comes in a can [called ready dip or something] and you literally dip the part into it. repeated dips made the coating thicker. got it at crappy tire or home depot. it has stood up to some abuse so far. can't comment on how it would fair on something soft like lead though.
