jonny5
Howdy fishers, I am curious to know what the rules are for getting down to the confluence from rg rd 280-whatcha-ma-call-it. Is it OK to cross the ranch there or should I stick to that road allowance and walk on the highwater mark? Anyone ever talked to the land owner, or is it word of mouth ect ect? Seems to be a good trail there, and I have used it... just want to know. Thanks, Jon
Harps
It's never okay to crose private land without the landowners consent, unless there is a marked access there. Stick to the road allowance to the highwater mark, or talk to the landowner.
Hawgstoppah
and folks... please, please pack in a garbage bag and pack OUT a garbage bag and maybe go over to the guys house and tell him "hey I packed all this trash outta here is there anywhere I can put it here or do you want me to take it into town?" A few things like that go a looooong way becuase I'm sure that we collectively don't want to lose this access do we?

SilverDoctor
Yes always always talk to the landowner. I have a number of access points around the province through private land that I've developed with good relations.
