shawnwlewis Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I know I shouldn't ask this, but here goes.........I'm planning to take my fiance out fishing........myself I could walk the banks all day and not get anything and have a hell of a time. However, she would like to come out on the water with me and would like to feel the pull of a trout......is there any place that the guys on this site could give me a heads up about????? I was considering fish creek after 22x along the bank.....then I though about policemans..........I'm stumped and I've only been out a few times this year......I've been trying to explore new water so haven't been on the bow yet. I'd like to take her there simply because it's close and the chance of hooking a decent fish is pretty good. Any help would be appreciated........ Quote
Tungsten Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 i take my wife out now and then, she has an ultra lite spin cast. put a little spinner on it and she'll hook 2 by the time i get rigged up .then she sits down on the bank with her book with a little smerk on her face .then when we get home she tells all her friends she out fished me .shes happy i'm happy.. Gil Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Forget the Bow for wives and kids. Try chain lakes. You can catch fish easily from shore then grab an ice cream.... Quote
Guest lookinforwalter Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 My wife has had success with " Championship Fishing" on the Nintendo Wii. Perhaps they could hook up sometime, then we can walk the banks all day long. Quote
ÜberFly Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 The banks of the Bow worked well for my girl friend and I a few weekends ago... But it's not about the "catching" it's about spending time together!! P Quote
acurrie Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I would say below 22x bridge or near Hulls wood at fish creek. Easy paths to walk and not much of a hike, plus the fishing is above average. Quote
