fishpro
I have one of those nets that has the tape measure belts right into the mesh where you just add the numbers on the two ends. For those of you that use them, how are they for landing fish that are larger than what they are intended to measure? They don't seem very deep, so I'm thinking they may be difficult to land larger fish with. What is everyone here's experience with them for larger fish? AndyW
I don't think many people use them. They have a problem as they turn 20" fish into 17" fish.....
KingSalmon
I have the one with the scale up to 30" (15" on each "side" of the net). Haven't had any troubles landing the big trout. Haven't landed any 30"ers in there mind you lol. Biggest I have caught, and used that net for, was probably 27"
scorpiondeathlock
If you actually put a tape measure in the bottom it is off by an inch or two

Nick0Danger
how accurate you think fabric will be? besides it will let you know if its worth actually getting a tape out or not.
SanJuanWorm
Never really needed one. All my fish are over 2 feet long at the very least.
Guest tallieho
i use one, love it.if it's a 1/2in .out that's all in the fisherman's lie anyways.biggest & best usage is it saves the fish from being handled,to get that measurement.net is wet a quick lok & of the lunker goes.
