beedhead Posted April 8, 2008 Share Posted April 8, 2008 Went for a drive along the Cypress Hills today...Along the secondary that goes to Maple Creek...From HWY 41 South..(Think it's the 515??)...Nice scenery and a nice drive...Went just bout to Maple Creek...WOW...The Most deer I have ever seen in one buch...Thougt I would share..as I love pics of Fish ..And or scenery... There was a huge herd on highway 501 all winter too, every time I went over the milk river valley there'd be about as many deer as your pics. BlueNorther Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 The bigger bucks will start dropping their antlers in early March,most are already starting to grow this years rack.Some spikers and fork horned bucks can still be wearing theirs till the end of this month. Those deer in the pics are most likely all doe's,fawns and yearlings.The older bucks form up bachelor herds and won't be around the females till next October.
