ÜberFly Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Anyone know if you have to do anything special to hardwood floors? Sun, 1st off, are they hardwood or laminate?! To clean hardwood both Martha Stewart and I use a sink full of steeped tea (orange peko) - use a rag on the dry side of damp. An old supervisor of mine had me clean a gym floor with ammonia and water (again on the dry side of damp)... I have also used vinegar and water (on the dry side of damp) and all three work very well! Hardwood is pretty hardy stuff, just try to avoid dragging furniture (with out felt pads) or dropping things on it, but scratches and dents will happen over time, but will give it some character... Guest Sundancefisher Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 This will help a lot ... Who gave you permission to post a picture of my wife? Quote
dryfly Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Hey sun if she is your wife, what do you care about the floors? Good luck with the floors BTW. Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I use a hardwood cleaner I got from Home Depot. I'll ask my brother late though as he sells flooring. Quote
