It resemebles a small black stone but is basically my version of the black Copper John, I have also tied these up in Green, Red, Yellow and have also used stretch floss for legs as well as you can see from the picture there is one in there with the stretch floss. Hook: Dai-Riki #135 size 12, 14, 16 or Daiichi 1120 Thread: Black 6/0 Tail: Pheasant tail fibres Body: Black Ultra Wire small Thorax: Uv light yellow dubbin, uv black peacock, caddis green...whatever you want really. Wing Case: Turkey wing quill mottled oak #1 Fleximented twice on both sides, then cut to size Legs: Zebra Legs Brown small or white or whatever color you want. Head: 3/32, 7/64 brass beads Quote
