cheeler Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Can't look up the specs right now, but the President had a slightly larger reel capacity, so I went with the 5/6 for my 5 weight, no problems so far. The fishin hole and wholesale sports sell both models if you're looking to compare. Quote
adc Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I have a 3 and 5 wt. trion and an 8 and 10 wt president..........All good........Only real difference is the trion is what I'd call a mid-arbour and the president is a true large-arbour..........Happy with both....... Quote
