This was back in October when there was a significant price difference between the US and Canadian rods, so I don't know if the policy has changed since. He took it to Springbrook here in Calgary and they gave him a new section with no questions asked. Maybe they didn't look very closely. Springbrook will honor the warranty providing you are the original owner and they have the series of rod you bring them in stock. Examples I was given: The Teeny and Professional series are not stocked here in Canada.. and the 4 piece Signature series are not stocked in the US, and therefore would have to be sent to the other country.
