SanJuanWorm Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Haven't tied one of these in a while. Crappy floss work. I'll try another. Quote

bulltrout Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 more like the way a redneck gets distracted by shiny things (why else would a bass boat have a glitter finish.......) Quote
ladystrange Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 ahh yes, i remember that skit. and something about shiny lures too Quote
bulltrout Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 ahh yes, i remember that skit. and something about shiny lures too or the lids off salmon egg containers??........ Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 when you forget to polish floss on a fancy fly u arent very smart. Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 or the lids off salmon egg containers??........ Did i miss something? Quote
bulltrout Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 just making a comparison between rednecks and fisherman who use bait in rivers.... Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 i gotta stop tying hunched over at the coffee table. Quote
ladystrange Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 remember - boob height. the fly should be at boob height, or for guys... nipple height as recommended by hydropsyche Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 Sure strange lady. I'd tie at boob height if I could get off the couch and move my fly tying stuff. I have 2 empty rooms with 0 desire to set up a fly tying station. I have my coffee table, kit, vise, fireplace, scotch and HDTV. Why would i move? Sore back tying or sore back movin stuff. Quote
ladystrange Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 you could sit on the floor and i thought i was lazy. i just have crap scattered around my computer table... periodically causing the cat to get tangled in ostrich feathers and fall off the table... Quote
ladystrange Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 lol. that would be my cat. hey dave, rather than sitting on the floor and getting a case of flat a$$ you could put the vise on a couple of hardcover books and then get one of those hardhats with cup holders and straws so you dont have move around a whole lot or hurt yourself getting up all the time Quote
maxwell Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 sick tye brother...and....can i fish that one? got a pretty good record wrecking ur flies in teh jaws of bulltrout............ Quote
SanJuanWorm Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 Dude you lost one of my prized stoneflies on a ROCK. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Is it sad, that my fly tying has taken literally over my room..while i have my laptop in front of the tv.. Quote
ladystrange Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 dont you live in a dorm... you only have 1 room and a tv?!?!?! Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Nope, im in a house... Though res last year was always odd....person walks in as you're tying...odd looks Quote
bulltrout Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 good transition of topic....dave's streamer to rednecks to brent's home.... Quote
