Craft Fur As Substitute For Rabbit Strips On Bunny Leech?

Hey All,

 

Anyone substitute craft fur for rabbit fur strips when tying things that use trailing fur strips? (bunny leech etc.)

 

I've tried searching but I can't come up with a good answer.

 

I'm wondering about the suitability/durability of the craft fur if used as a trailing strip because it doesn't have that rabbit hide like leather backing.

 

Any input appreciated.

I have seen guys use glue on the sheet of fabric holding the craft fur together. And then cut it into the strips they need.

That's probably a good idea. I'm thinking the glue would need to be a flexible type.

Any suggestions?

Use a piece of bead chain (like a pull chain for a light) tie as a trailer and add craft fur.

Would you tie the fur to that chain? Or are you taking about glue?

Tie always tie, use a long piece and ancher it on two points, tie in clumps. Very slinky
