alan2 Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 http://www.thecragandcanyon.ca/2016/09/22/fisherman-fined-for-eating-endangered-trout-2 Shoulda been a much bigger fine for their ignorance. Quote
Sage Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 These fines need to be significant to be a deterrent, NOT same price as a speeding ticket. Quote
McLeod Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I also met someone up there this year that ate a fish... Bottom-line is if your fishing that lake you know it has cuttys and you KNOW they can't be kept anywhere in the park. However there should be better signage at the trailheads and at the lake .Then when it goes in front of the judge there are NO excuses..I will pay for the signage ! 2 Quote
trailhead Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 People don't read signs. I saw a fellow a few years ago on the Livingstone and when I said that it was catch and release only he said "where does it say that?" I pointed at the black and yellow sign beside the area where the vehicles were parked. Quote
