angler
The motor on my 2010 4Boys loader crapped out. Took it apart to a deluge of rusty water. Put it back together hoping for a miracle and voila it worked, at least long enough to get the boat off.Removed it at the shop and found the gut to be pretty worn and rough turning and 'grinding'. Triage says, situation critical.Called the Boys and to my shock and amazement learned some prices. $300 for the motor? $750 to 'upgrade'? to a centre mount. Both sound justifiable only in that there is not a large market or number of suppliers. So, is the dif between the end and centre mounted motor worth the extra $450. For $750 I could replace the just the motor twice
