porto Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hello guys, Just bought this rod on sale from cabelas yesterday and wondering what the guys here reviews are? I bought it for two reason, first for my self to take small breaks from single hand on the buckey River for steelheads but mostly for my 13 year old son to fish streamers on the Bow River. I didn't want anything big and heavy but to keep it light as possible but enough meat and length to cast big steamers for the both of us. I thought about the 6 wt 12'6" but went with the 7wt. The rod is design for 510-620 grain line, any suggestions on what line weight I should match up? I think I got a good deal on it, it's $350 but got it for $250. Read some reviews online first and seems like good feed back so far.. Any feedback would be appreciated!! Merry Christmas and God Bless Thanks Marco Quote

upperbowtrekker Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 got the same rod on sale. going to set it up with the ultra spey kit from Airflow in 600g Quote
troutlover Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I used the same rod on a few rivers in the skeena system last year and it is a good rod. Fish tales has a kit full of all different lines that you can rent for the day and go out to figure out which one you like the most. Quote
