Caddis Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Hi all, I am coming in from out of town and hope do a float this weekend. Wondering if anyone can comment on the river flow from McKinnon to Carseland. I know that the Alberta river basin flow figure shows the river is within the yearly average for flow rate , just not looking to do any heavy rowing near the end of the float. Thanks Quote
bcubed Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Pretty standard float times. I'd recommend Mac to Jansens if you're not wanting to row as much. Days are a lot shorter now. Really depends on your fishing technique Quote
jpinkster Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 In all honesty, it's my least favorite float on the Bow. Lots of swirly water with less obvious structure. I know the fish can get huge down on that stretch, but I've always preferred Police to Mac. Quote
Caddis Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Thanks for the info, I will post a report of how the day went. Quote
