I am assuming this is likely because I am applying too much force or moving my forward stroke too early? I nearly never experience this with a single hander. -al Quote
maxwell Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 u got it dude..i had this problem ehre and tehre the first few times bully and bow fishin nymphs or streamers...just tone it down a bit and you should be fine...im also checking my nots and rigs a lil more often too. ive also bin using palomar knots almost exclusively when spey fishing compared too certain situations i may need more knot strength single handed fishin...what lb test are you using in what situations dude... localanglr Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 when they snap off liek that is it from "whipping" ur leader and the whip is what actually snaps it off? ive had that problem a few times..... not with a 2 hander but sometimes when its windy my flys are suddenly gone Quote
