bcubed
Was away last week during the big winds, but did have a friend checking in on our place. Was up on our roof yesterday, and the eavestroughs were full of asphalt bits from the shingles and some of the shingles are looking a little beat up. We had intense winds and some hail (Deer Ridge area). It is an older roof, but this was a lot more then last year, so not sure if this is just wear or what. Is this something I should be calling my insurance about and having them come out and look at it, or a contractor for a quote first? Thanks! fishinhogdaddy
If it's an older roof, I think you are sol with insurance. They now "pro-rate" shingles and each year that goes by is less a percentage for them to pay for replacement. Good luck tho. FHD
