Popular Post reevesr1
Got a call from my wife the other day: "Did you lose your wallet?" I quickly tapped my back pocket and said "nope". She says "I got a weird call from the community association" I interrupted her "and they said someone called and found my wallet on a river in BC, right?" "Yes, when did you lose it?" "Last september" I reply. I was fishing with bigbowtrout and 3 family members from Texas on some pretty well known water in BC. We had a perfect day, other than the fact it was just after all the snow last September. When I get to the car, I can't find my wallet. We looked all over the creek for like an hour before giving up. Credit cards, licenses, etc, all gone. Plus a bit of cash. Anyway, 9 months later, a guy in BC finds my totally beat up, no money wallet. he finds my Lake Chaparral lake card, and calls the community association, who calls me and I call him. He asks if I want him to mail it to me, and I say nah, just toss it. "By the way, how is the fishing." "Gooood" he says. Might hit it up Friday!

The rickety old man fell in the river twice today. Hell, they done made up a word based entirely upon the Texan's propensity for taking unplanned swims!
Vagabond
Haha,I spect someday davety will become the new rickety. That said, even in my earlier years(especially then),river wading balance has been known to be affected in direct relation to number of beers consumed throughout the day.
reevesr1
I want that damn senior discount card. Nothing like a Whataburger! And bobloblaw, you would have howled at me trying to walk back and forth across the Bull this weekend. One of my favorite creeks BBT calls the "slip and f@!#. This is exactly the same thing. Step, slip, fall, swear is the wading technique.
