SilverDoctor Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I've experienced this hatch on some of our streams, timing is everything. Wonderful time if you have the pattern. Caught the tail end of it this year 1 Quote

BigFoamy Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Pretty small for a salmon fly but thats what i labelled it as in 1998. It landed on my wife out at Paddys Flats camp ground, man my wife is fast!!!! If i was wrong you can tell me, tis a little shrivelled up but, it was the orange colour to me that determined what to was. That moth is freakin huge! Great Ash Sphinx. easily the palm of my hand! had to do a 150 bug bug collection for turf management back in 98. its been knocked around a lot and my kids like to look at so there are a few body parts missing and such. My teacher took my Horntail #@$%!!!! 1 Quote

vanslays1 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 You can do a lot of movie magic with a go pro and a drone. Great film. I was wondering how that was done. I was pretty sure these guys did not have the budget for a helicopter. Quote
