Brookie
Please do NOT tie orange flagging onto sign posts, trees and bushes. I live in the East Kootenays and see way to much orange flagging tape used for directions or marking good fishing spots. It isn't only a BC problem of course. With modern GPS technology and detailed directions, flagging tape is unnecessary. It looks tacky and detracts from everyone's outdoor experience!!!!!

X2 - If you see any of the thousands of Inukshuks or Cairns give them a boot and knock 'em down too. Its all tree huger graffiti. If you put up some type of marker take it down when you leave.
Slanter
I see your point... But the other day, I was trying to get to a spot, and my directions were something like "park here, go across the river, find the access road". Of course I get there, cross the river, can't see an access road anywhere... But I spot a little piece of flagging tape. Bingo... Path found. But yeah, some of it is pretty ugly.
