Help Identifying Pattern

hey -

friend of mine recently found these, tied by her deceased father over 30 years ago.

 

can someone correctly identify these as specific patterns...are they a variation of something, or just a custom tie.

 

I would guess, but would be a long-shot. could google too, but ...lazy.

Hard to tell without actually seeing them, but here is an educated guess.

The top Salmon fly seem to be a "Gordon".

The bottom Salmon fly looks to be a "Black Doctor" missing some material on its sides.

The middle fly looks like a "Carey Special"

Small top right a "Sand Fly Buck"

The lower right a variation of the "Waterhen Boa"

It depends what waters these where fished on as there where as today lots of variations. Some tiers would sub materials if they didn't have them.
