So I headed to the Mountains to meet my Brother for some late season high country fishing.

Friday was a great day with a few nice fish to hand and some great weather.

Day two the snow was falling hard and the water was like glass so fish spooked very easy but once the wind picked up so did the fishing.

All in all it was a great weekend and you can't beat the Rockies!!!

Nice pics BBT, and beautiful fish. Seeing the pictures of your "secret" high country location brought back pleasant memories of slogging through the mud. My reel hasn't been the same since. Terry

Terry next year we should head out there with the rest of the gang and tonight is clean my gear and real night. Up that mud can do a lot of damage.

Damn I miss that place!

When it was/is on - it's incredible!

Grizz it was on, on Friday with only one other person out there but Sat was a bit more crowded and the water was like glass so the fish spooked way to easy but once the wind picked up it was better but darn cold. Streamers in Black or green worked the best and I lost a couple nymphing.

I love this place and try my best to get out every year.
