Single Hand ‘Tune-Up’ And Rio Distance Day – This Saturday - May 4, 2013

Recommended Posts

Please join us for our third year of this fun and slightly competitive event. Rio’s area sales representative, Ruben Breitkrutz will be in town to moderate the event and provide some casting tips to participants.

This year David Blair and Terry Johnson will also be on-site to provide casting tips to anyone looking to fine tune their cast. David, Terry, and Ruben are all certified fly casting instructors – we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from guys who really know their stuff.

This is also a great chance to test drive some different rods. We’ll be bringing several along for folks to try including selections from Sage, GLoomis, Temple Fork, and more.

We will be hosting this event on dry land so you’ll only be focused on your cast. Location to be determined. This event will start at 1 p.m. and will take place in the south field of the Southwood Community Association located at 11 Sackville Drive SW, about 5 minutes from the shop. Check out our Facebook page for additional details.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
