Walk And Wade On The Bow

hi all, i'm going to be fishing the bow on foot on tuesday and wednesday and was wondering if anyone could point me in the general direction of a half decent strecth to fish from shore. i'll be staying south of calgary (okotoks?) and will be fishing the policeman's flats area one of the days but not sure where to go day two, would like to avoid the city. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks, kent.

i would spend a day down stream at police flats and then a day up stream. Loads of great water there.

I've caught good Trout in most sections of the River.

I'd spend the day up from police by parking at the deerfoot extender bridge on the south bank and working up from there through all the islands. Lots of good breaks, troughs, and riffles in there and with the water low the wading should be easier... you may even be able to get to each island and fish all the banks in the entire section.
