Jayhad Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 * C&R * No Bait * Single Barbless(single shank, single point) Not elitist.... just practical. Go ahead and chuck spinners and raps, just do so with single barbless. bc single barbless Never going to happen, we can't get more enforcement and the gear chuckers are way more organized than fly fisherman. Haven't you heard you just can't tune a rap correctly unless you have the trebles on Quote
troutlover Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Ya and the extra hooks that hit the fish in the side of the face help with landing more fish. Quote
Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 it only gets fun with 1 treb in your hand and one in the fishes face, its my favorite part of TV fishing shows Quote

Haven't you heard you just can't tune a rap correctly unless you have the trebles on It will happen eventually, Alberta is just way behind everyone else as usual. (ie-texting/driving law, tobacco reduction act, etc) Wouldn't zero retention be easier to enforce? No more playing dumb to size restrictions. I agree that the gear chuckers are more organized(and defensive towards change of any kind) but a lot of these fellas are C&Ring the Bow anyway. Quote
Hawgstoppah Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 It's not about making it easy to catch fish, it's about protecting a resource. let me get this right before I laff myself to death. If I fish without an indicator I somehow am going to protect the resource more? God forbid all those trout impaling themselves on my indicator all day long. Hahahaha Oh my I need to go have a nap now... hahaha oh man.... thanks for the laffs. Quote
upperbowtrekker Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Nice one Shaps! Good food for thought... Quote
