monger Posted May 22, 2012 Share Posted May 22, 2012 Went exploring Saturday to find some real fish. Found a new water body with some healthy diploids. Nice to see fish growing so big before they reach sexually maturity. The fish was mortally wounded prior to picture so no worries about survival (dinner for four). monger Posted May 22, 2012 Author Share Posted May 22, 2012 Jared, there is a lake south of Milo in the prairie. We were trying to find saugeye and burbot but all we could get were these fat fish with no spots. This one has 7 spots I think, 24" The spawners are bigger.
