Guest Schutzy16 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Anyone wanna share some deadly chronimid patterns? So far I've been pretty successful using an olive color with a tiny silver rib, also red with gold rib, dark brown has been good to me as well with a thin lead rib. I tie most of my Chrons with a white bead head. Here's a throat sample from a healthy bow from the bow river. I'm think of tying more tan colored chronimids with light brown heads, also with grey colored chronimids. What do you guys think? Quote
Guest JBear Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Zebra Midge, and Chromies are pretty much what gets the most action on rivers. Lakes are another story. Quote
fishinhogdaddy Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 For Chrono patterns I like Brian Chan's Riseform website. He has some representations of throat samples and good, close up pics of different colors that are representative of the lakes in B.C. He is known for his knowledge and techniques of fishing them and has some really good reading regarding the "stages" and the lifecycles of chronos. FHD Quote
ggp Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Here's one I tied up this past winter. Although untried I'm sure it will do the job! 1 Quote
TerryH Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I see Chronie's in my sleep You must be tying them in your sleep too. I thought I had a pretty good Chirony box, but I can't match yours. Terry Quote
Crowsnest Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I would gestimate there are approx 1500 chironies in there. Quote
kurtisma Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Those are all really good ,I will have to tie a few up . Thanks guys !! Quote
