ggp Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Spent a few hours on the river. Wind came up and made it very unpleasant, but I persisted and was rewarded with several very nice fish. Here are just a couple of pic's. Quote
pkk Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Wow, some more beautiful pics. These are are taken by yourself? If so, what do you do with the fish while setting your camera up (like for the first photo). are you using a timer to take that first pic? Thanks Quote
pkk Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Is it ok to land fish with gloves on? I thought that it wasn't good for the fish and took much needed slime off the fish. Quote

ggp Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 Love your close ups Gary! Keep em coming... Thanks CF8, I'm glad you like them. Quote
monger Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Nice shots ggp. It's interesting to see how much variation in color patterns the fish have in the Bow. You must be able to ID a bunch of these fish by their spot patterns from the close ups. I remember reading a paper years ago where a guy set up towers along a small stream back East. They used a camera to watch Browns patrol their territories and had fish IDed by spot pattern. Quote

In some instances I've definitely caught the same fish more than once. Quote
