Noticed the other day while tying evil weevils that my head cement was reacting with the peacock ice dub i was using. Added the cement, looked back at one of my flies (thankfully only put cement on one at the time) and the ice dub around the head had turned a blue-gray color, and actually kinda melted into my hands..

this happen often?

Kind of off topic, but....

I tied some chronnie's using acetate floss and Peacock Ice Dub instead of herl.

When I dipped the flies in acetone, the ice dub turned very brittle. When i rolled it between my fingers it crumbled and fell off.

I've had this happen occasionally with head cement as well.
