Redington Cpx

I just got a Redington CPX 9'6" 5wt fast action. It feels like a very nice rod but I have never tried it. Has any one tried one out that wants to tell me more about it?

they are great sticks. I have the 12'6 6wt and its very nice to cast for the price. i would love to try the single hander

I have a 9' 5 wt CPX and REALLY like it. The only thing I don't like is the cork is super narrow. Great warrantee though, this rod replaced my original CPS when I broke a guide. I also have a 7'6" 3 wt Classic Trout as well. I think Redingtons are one of the best values out there IMO!

Make sure your reel fits. Playing with it in the shop, I found the seat is smaller than those on the CT series

-Uber- have you caste 2wt or just the 3? I would like to replace my TFO 2pc with a bit nicer and longer stick

That's a rad stick, the 10 foot 6 wt is no slouch either. I have a few CPXs.... and I think they are great sticks, they have really nice, well thought out features like the hook keeper built into the reel seat... simple

I have 2 CPX's, a 7wt and a 9wt. Love 'em! I'm casting bigger streamers, farther and more accurately, than ever before.
