I was just wondering if anyone has tried a fly called the Zoo Cougar (http://www.slideinn.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=35) in any Alberta waters, especially the Bow. It seems like a pretty neat sculpin imitation. Also, it is supposed to be fished with zero weight (other than a sinking line). Sounds interesting to me. Doesn't seem too difficult to tie either.

Any thoughts...

all of galloup's creations are kickass in our waters for some reason...the zoo cougar is a great little pattern when used with a sink tip for all streams/lakes around here...dynamite dead drifted with a swing at the end on lower oldman so i would assume the same goes for the bow...

Decent on the bow at certain times of year although I tie them a bit darker than the Galloup version. Some people find them a bit tricky to tie, notability the head and nice and straight mallard flank feathers can be hard to find.
