Hawgstoppah Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 No. That has nothing to do with it. It's the fact that my wife has stolen my berries and I'm too chicken to get them back (becuase I don't have any left, she's beaten the fight right out of me by now) Quote

DonAndersen Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Folks, This is old news!! Studies have been done all over the place by other provinces and countries. Curiously, the researchers were from Calgary but the Bow was ignored. Biggest effect seems to be in main stem spawners. As the rainbows use the Hghhwood & Sheep with the browns mostly up the Elbow, the fish may not be highly effected. But the bugs and minnows will be. This will reduce food resources in the Bow. Such is life. Don Quote
Guest Sundancefisher Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 This has been talked about for years after the onset of birth control pills. Still...interesting article. Anyone know that some fish naturally change sex in response to population issues? Halibut for instance sees males changing to females if the numbers of females decrease. Cheers Sun Quote
