Jeffro Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Awesome pic. Will be out that way end of May beginning of June but probably won't get any fishing done in Nova Scotia. Luckily I should be out for at least one day with the in-laws in New Brunswick. Quote

birchy Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 We totally should get a "Caper" fishing get together one of these nights! Quote
walker1 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Great pics. Where is that? I am another of the Caper westerners!!!!!!!!! grew up in a small community outside Port Hawksbury. With two little guys I don't make it east enough but fished Margaree last year with no luck due to no rain. Quote
chiasson Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 That was near the sandbar in East Bay, just by McCormacks school; aside from some inland lakes it's was pretty much the only place open near Sydney for the last month. However, some more promising water just opened on the 14th and I hear trout are starting to enter the rivers. I'll let yas know how I get along. By the way, there is a great new NS fly fish site at www.nsflyguy.ca Quote
