With record-breaking temps next week there's some certainty we'll be needing one before April 7th. With regards to Policeman's Flats - do you need a key or special privileges to launch from there or to take out? I heard at one time you did need a key or something. We haven't used that launch in over 7 years but since 22x is not open, it looks like it's Glenmore to Police for a float until everything opens up. Quote

skearns Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Never needed a key or seen a gate at the public Policeman's boat launch. Have a good look at the landing when dropping your vehicle. It is a little hidden from the river view and you don't want to miss it. I usually look for the three steel fence posts right at the landing entrance when floating in my 'toon...enjoy, should be nice lengthy float....sk Quote
