Din
Still trying to figure out how to use my mac...hopefully someone can help, because I'm about to pull out my hair I'm trying to upload pics to photobucket. When I try to upload and find the pictures it won't let me select iphoto... Are they stored anywhere else? Or am I missing something?? Thanks... ÜberFly
I use image shack but it shouldn't be much different... When prompted to upload photo or "Choose folder" in the case of image shack, click it and on the left column (where there is desktop, application, documents, etc. - should be "pictures". Just click on that and you should see your iPhoto files - your photos will be filed by date (I think). Hope that helps. lethfisher
If you are really stuck then make a new folder on your desktop and drag the photos you want into that folder from iPhoto. Then once in photobucket you can just go to that folder on the desktop and upload from there. Kind of a run around way to do it but it should work

The latest version makes your iPhoto Library into one file that isn't accessible through the Finder. Lethfisher nailed it - drag the photos you want to upload from iPhoto to your desktop then upload them to Photobucket from there. If you're going to be uploading from iPhoto to Photobucket a lot, you might want to look into a plug-in like this one: http://picturesync.net/ Also, check out the Facebook Exporter for iPhoto: http://developers.facebook.com/iphoto/ Personally, I pay for a MobileMe account that lets me upload pics directly from iPhoto to a gallery along with a bunch of other stuff. No need to bother with Photobucket, Flickr, etc.
