Sad news to all

The well known tier jack Gartside has passed away after a battle with lung cancer. Jack was a friend separated by distance. I met and fished with him a number of years ago and he graciously gave me a number of his flies. he was a class act. His Gartside Sparrow is a great pattern. His loss will be felt by family and entire fly fishing community.

He was a really unique guy with an off the wall sense of humor. Jack was wacky.
