Tell us more about the raft thing,looks like some skinny water there.Where you guys floating in this raft or was it just for the beer. egg sucking leeches were popular for sure. at one access point we hauled the raft down a little creek, over boulders and under logs. it was a lot of work but worth it. we floated and worked about 3 miles of river that day. that was my 4 day. a few other access points were not quite as tough to get down to the river, but we lost about 12-18" of water depth overnight so it got very tough to float and the fish got spooky. got blanked next day so we went back to the tough access spot after that and i picked up one, the only fish that day. duanec Posted November 2, 2009 Author Share Posted November 2, 2009 Sounds like a great spot.Soooo did you try the ....? worm? very briefly. guide commented it could work in larger sizes in the summer... ya it was a really good trip, we coulda used more rain mid week, but i had a golden day and learned a lot more about fly fishing for steelhead. unfortunately however i think i've contracted 'the fever'.
