It certainly is good when compared to the alternative of no money. If she were making the kind of money you feel she should make, is it possible someone more hungry and more desperate may cause her harm just to get her job? I know this was brought forth when the Nike situation in the Orient was first discussed many years ago. This needs to be kept in perspective. There are not the social service networks to fall back on in some countries like we have here. If a job pays enough to keep a family fed and sheltered wherever that family lives, life is good for that family, regardless of what that job pays...
