To fish wherever and whenever I can which may be a problem this year. Like a few others in here, I have a little one on the way in about 2 weeks which will have a real impact on how much fishing I will do this year. But if she's healthy I really can't complain too much.

Losers is a little harsh I think. Pretty tough for Canadian teams to compete against the amount of money most US teams have to throw around. Remember when Alberta was known as death valley , man those where the days. Anyways love the flames all always be a fan win or lose.
Hey GrnDrake, 2 words...Salary Cap. Every team in the league is on an even playing field in terms of money. I guess my comment on calgary sucking hurt a little bit. Oh well, truth hurts I guess.

I read your post about fishing in Edmonton. It looks like those browns stocked in the North Saskatchewan river back in the mid 80's are finally beginning to take hold.

Avery signing with the Oilers??? April Fools is more than a month away. Go ahead and stick with MacT for the rest of the season but if the don't make the playoffs then he has to fricken go. By the way, first time i purchased a PPV game last night and I'm glad I did.

Looks good Gregg. You won't have any problems with ammonia or nitrates, the tank is well established with good bacteria by now. Do you ever do water changes and what kind of water do you use? In the past year I've began keeping salt water fish and inverts and if it wasn't for them I'd definately try what you're doing.

The Jagr rumor is exactly that...just a rumor. He's not coming to Edmonton. Kurt I agree about Horcoff. Hopefully they'll get rid of him and his $7 000 000 contract at the trade deadline. Unfortunately Cole is gone. Too bad...I wish the Oilers could keep guys like that for more than one season. Anyway, they'll probably deal him at the trade deadline so they can at least get something in return. Horcoff, Cole and Schremp for ????? Any Ideas?

Time to bring this thread back to life. F*ckin Garbagekov...that guy scares the hell out of me every time he touches the puck. I wonder how Pat Quinn would do as head coach, maybe give the whole team the kick in the ass they need. As for MacT, it's time to go and as soon as Kevin Lowe realizes that the better off everyone will be.

Let's hope they keep up the enforcement all year long. Talking with a co-worker yesterday, he informed me that himself and his quadding buddies will be out this coming weekend in the Rocky/ Cow Lake area. I don't know if these are the same guys who tore up the Prarie creek area last year, and he did sound as if he was a responsible rider (liscenced and insured) but I did have to cringe when he told me he drove his truck across the South Ram to camp on the other side a few years back.
