Not sure if you guys have heard of this it might be old news..
Hello;
Just got back from Bob at Stream Weavers today, and bought a couple boxes. Small individual lids / compartments to hold #20 BWO's. Do you Hoolios prefer individual compartment or the big foam hook in style boxes?
Just Curious.
Thanks
A budy and I are going to Cuba soon, we are wondering about Rod rentals. The spot we are going to is out of the way and do not offer quality Rods or Fly's. The Fly's and leaders are not an issue however we do not want to purchase rods for just one trip. I am taking my 6wt for bones but am looking for a 11 or 12 for larger Tarpon. Has anyone been through this dilemma? Please advise.
Thanks
Thanks for your ongoing work on thearea streams Don. For the last few years I have cursed my favorite stretches of that creek with the sudden high population of Dams, ( >7 in a .5 mile stretch). Numbers have drastically decreased partially due to "native species" ie Beaver, Otter, Cattle ... worms.... etc. Thanks for your ongoing efforts and information.
I spent a couple years working at CNRL Horizon directly for CNRL as a construction coordinator, working during the early days of site prep / process construction. CNRL based the entire Horizon project on a production cost of $30/ Barrel. Profit was anything above that. I read the reports.
I was also told its approx $13K to $15 profit per 797 truck of raw tar sand. These bad boys run 365 24 / 7, I am not sure how many loads are dumped into the crusher per hour but it is lots.
I am sure this has been covered here before, but I am requesting clarification the age old creek / land access laws.
I know the following;
1. Ask permission onto private land.(given)
2. Is it free access to the high water mark on a creek or to the " change in riparean vegetation". Can I walk along the edge of a creek? Or do I need to stay in the creek?
Thanks
