So does the 1030 have burst? I have one but not sure where the burst feature is. More manual reading for me.

My only advice is don't drop anything, it's much more difficult to retrieve than in a canoe or boat.

Bowcane, I had the same thing happen. Cop took my license went to the back of my vehicle and gave me a ticket for $120, all in less than 5 minutes. The only thing he said was "you were clocked at 79km/h", and " I hope the rest of your day goes better". -

With that site you will need your WIN card number. I guess it does answer your question though.

Slow down psychic. Why he did the robbery is irrelevant. He could have just as easily been doing it because he was hungry. His father saying that it might have been for booze (he never mentioned drugs in the link you provided) is exactly what we should expect from a bad parent. He's blaming everything but his parenting. Either way, each case should be viewed seperately. In this one, a 17 year old, who is 5'4" and 145 lbs is tasered and killed by cops because he didn't put his knife down right away. You call that getting what he deserves??? I don't. You keep saying put yourself in the cops situation. Why not try to put yourself in the boys too.

Well I'm not a trained cop. I see a cops as being able to take a kid down at will. Maybe tasers are making them lazy. I obviously would never expect an officer to go head to head with anyone that has a weapon, that would be stupid. I've never seen just "one" cop respond to a situation like that and try to deal it by him/herself. Maybe I'm not thinking clearly because I have smoked pot.

Lets not fool ourselves; troubled kids can straighen out their lives, just as easily as good kids can turn into criminals. What ever happened to cops taking a perp down old-school, tackling him to the ground and taking his knife from him, throw in a couple slaps in there if needed, I don't care? If you seen the vancouver airport video, the cops walked up to the man and in less than 1 minute they tasered him. Was he really that threatening? Is a 17 year old kid, that must have been scared s--tless so intimidating to grown "trained" men and woman that they need to taser him? I am not trying to blame the cops, maybe they did do everything they could with the 17 year old but they definitely did not with the polish man.

I did a quick search but found zero info. As most of you surely have much more knowledge on the subject. Which do you use? Are there any advantages or harmful effects of either? I usually do a bit of hiking to get to spots and am curious which type of wading boot I should and should not be looking at.

I (and friends) have a pontoon boat and have used the shuttle services of others.

Seems like every time i go out. Been fly fishing for about 4 years. Went once to Blackstone got checked. Crowsnest checked 2 out of 6 times. Many trips to Livingstone checked 3-4 times. And once at Chain lakes, in my early years but i'm not going to talk about that one

FYI. There are flights that fly to Cuba from Miami and Americans are allowed on it. They do, however have to have a missionary certificate, which is very expensive. As mentioned most Americans do fly through Mexico and usually take a long time to get through customs. So if Americans are ever in front of you in the "Aduana" (customs) line, find another line. I worked in Cuba for half of the year, so i do have a little knowledge on the matter. I'm still actually considered a resident.

Just interested to know how many people actually use a fishing journal. I have tried in the past but haven't been able to keep it up to date. Three optional questions for those that do: (this is starting to look like an exam ) 1. What type of info do you record? 2. What info do you find most important? 3. Do you find yourself referring to it before an outing?

Great idea. Unfortunately when I was first learning how to fly-fish, on my own, I pretty much did the same. Now with the help of forums and threads like these I have a learned great deal of information that has helped me catch and successfully release fish. And for that I and the fish that I have caught thank you all.

Wow, <2 minutes seems pretty quick for a nice sized fish, although I have never timed it myself. I will have to be more demending next time. I appreciate all the feedback. I am curious to see how the 'side pressure' thing works, does anyone have any other tricks they use to bring the fish in quicker?

I know that this question has many variables which will effect the answer but, in general, how long does it take you to net a decent trout? (could be time, runs,...) I don't want to put any more stress on a fish than needed but i hate to lose a fish. Although with the amounts of times i lose them, you may think that is goal. The more i think about this, there may not be an answer to this but i am curious to see some of your comments.
