Scadden is a winner. Mine fits in the back of my small car and I plan putting a electric motor on it this year. The frameless construction makes it light and easy to transport. I have had a more typical pontoon boat and it just didn't have the maneuverability and scadden handles up to class 3 rapids better. Enjoy whatever you buy.

I have a simple Olympus Stylus Tough, 5 foot shockproof and 10 ft waterproof. Bought it for a trip to Belize 2 years ago and it did well. It is a good all round camera but keep in mind making menu adjustments are a little harder due to adjusted controls to keep it waterproof. Over 1/2 hour at a time in the water and no problems. Still using it for fishing here but it is awkward to take that underwater shot when you are also trying to land a fish. Enjoy.

In particular, I am looking at a pull out point nearer to Calgary. BowGlen Prov. Park has no river access. Any ideas? Is the boat launches on the south side of the river at Emerald near Springbank a public access? Thanks.
